14 Years of Age for First Solo

Category 3 Medical

PRIVATE PILOT LICENCE REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of 45 hours of flight training including

17 hours dual, including 5 hours of instrument training, and 3 hours dual of cross-country

12 hours solo, including 5 hours solo cross-country

40 hours of theory classes - Air Law, Meteorology, Navigation and General Knowledge

A Transport Canada Written and Flight Examination
